A range of activities are implemented or sponsored by YEAR to the profit of the members. Such activities are the core of our work.

YEAR is active in organizing and promoting international meetings and events of high scientific relevance, called Events. As YEAR's network has recently started its operations and is still growing the range of possible activities is continuosly expanding. Activities are organised and coordinated by specific Taskforce Groups

The following is a brief selection of other previewed actions and activities:

• facilitating researcher and knowledge exchange between members;
• assisting members in their relations with the young researchers within their organisation;
• organising and participating in conferences, workshops and other events of particular interest to the members;
• promoting the interests of young researchers of the European industrial research and development, technology and innovation sector to the European Commission and to other European organisations;
• providing information and expertise to the European Commission and to other European organisations;
