Every European Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) and Industrial Research body where young researchers are active is a potential member of YEAR. Networks and Associations of organisation's young researchers and employees are part of the already active members but also smaller organisations which don't need such internal organizations may take advantage of all the opportunities YEAR has to offer.

Added Value for Member Organisations
Through the YEAR activities Member Organisations will gain multicultural competence through cross-border operations, increase their abilities to deal with international markets, obtain new and faster ways for solving problems.
They will also learn new and best practises and increase both quantitative and qualitative productivity.
Moreover, they will benefit from skilled, motivated and inspired employees and acquire access to a European bank of multidisciplinary project ideas and people

Categories of Membership
According to the different role and involvement in the Association, 4 different categories of membership are established: Individual Members, Association Members, Corresponding Members and Honorary Members.
