YEAR is governed by the General Meeting of all the members of the Association, which is responsible for the election of the Executive Board of the Association and for monitoring and approval of its operation.

The General Meeting is the supreme decision-making body of the association. The members are the ones who decide the policies of the Association and give the guidelines for general management to the Executive Board, which in turn is ruled by the Chairman of the Association.

The Executive Board coordinates all the activities of the Association, which are carried out by teamss of active individuals from the member organisations. In order to be most effective a series of Taskforce Groups are selected to group all members that are active on a specific subject or project of relevance to the whole Association.
