Application rules and Criteria of Selection

The CREATE events are limited to 60 participants. The Consortium has thus agreed upon some general selection criteria, and has the overall responsibility that the selection process is straightforward, fair and lucid. The Scientific Committee shall give its final approval.

• 1) The applicant should enclose a short CV of not more than one A4 page including contact information, nationality, gender and years of experience, depicting projects and publications the applicant has contributed to during her or his research career. If the participant attended the previous course, the CV is not necessary. Please state this in the application.


• 2) The applicant should make a poster "communicating him- or herself to others". In other words, a poster including a picture and a creative visual presentation educational and professional background, as well as fields of professional interest. Future aspirations can also be included. In the centre of the poster there should be a definition of the concept of “knowledge transfer”. This poster should be brought to the event where it will be displayed.

The official language of the CREATE events is English. Documents received in any other language will not be translated and thus not considered.

Because CREATE is a Marie Curie project, the main parts of travel and living costs for each participant will be covered by the project. There will be a participation fee linked to conference material, conference content and social events.The participation fee is 350 €.

The CREATE Consortium, coordinated by SINTEF, is composed by 4 European Research and Technology Organisations: EIDON S.p.A. (Italy), Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Germany), SINTEF (Norway) and VITO (Belgium).

Project Coordinator of CREATE is Thale Kvernberg Andersen (SINTEF).
